About KeyStone

What is KeyStone?

A set of tools that share one rule: nothing gets written that isn't already true. It finds jobs you can take, tailors your CV, drafts grant applications, lists grants and fellowships read on their official pages, and gives you checklists for visas.

Is KeyStone free?

Yes, with no card. Finding job matches uses no AI, so it costs nothing to run. Tailoring a CV and drafting a grant use a shared daily AI budget. You can add your own OpenRouter key in Settings to skip that limit.

Do I need an account?

You can read the homepage and every information page without one. To use a tool you sign in with Google, an emailed link or a one-time code. There is no password.

Jobs

Where do the jobs come from?

From public sources only: 16 company job boards (through the Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby feeds), plus free job feeds from Remotive, Remote OK, Himalayas, Jobicy, Arbeitnow, We Work Remotely, Working Nomads and MyJobMag (which lists Nigerian employers). They are read every 6 hours, and a role that has been taken down disappears at the next refresh. Each job shows where it came from and links to the original posting.

How does it know I can take a job?

It reads the posting's own wording on location, visa sponsorship and who can apply, and compares it with the countries you say you can work in. Every match shows the sentence or the location line behind it.

Does "we sponsor visas" mean I will get one?

No. It's a signal, not a promise. Whether an employer will sponsor you is theirs to confirm, and this is not immigration advice.

What is "Worth a check"?

Roles that fit what you want, but where the posting isn't clear about who can take them. They stay out of your matches until you've read them.

Why don't I see a company I'm interested in?

KeyStone reads a chosen set of company job boards, not the whole internet, so a company that is not on the list will not appear. Roles in Nigeria and across Africa are less common in the current set than roles elsewhere.

Can I rely on a match?

Treat it as a well-checked lead, not a promise. A posting can be wrong, out of date or already filled, and the wording about visas is a signal, not an offer. Read the posting and confirm with the employer before you rely on it.

What is the daily email?

An optional email of up to five new matches. It is off until you turn it on in your match settings, it goes only to the address you sign in with, and you can switch it off at any time.

CV tailoring

What does CV tailoring do?

You give it your CV and a job description. It shows where you match each requirement, checks your CV's formatting for applicant tracking systems, and rewrites your CV for that role using only what is already on it. It can also write a cover letter and interview prep from the same facts.

Will it make things up?

It is told never to, and anything it considers adding that is not on your CV is shown to you as "flagged and removed". No automated check catches everything, so read the result and take out anything that is not true of you before you send it.

Does it use AI?

Yes. Your CV text and the job description are sent to an AI provider through OpenRouter to produce the result. Your email address is not sent. The AI transparency page lists the models and what is checked afterwards.

Can I download the result?

Yes. You can copy the text or download it as a Word document or a PDF.

Grants and fellowships

Where do the grants and fellowships come from?

Two layers. The verified programmes were each read on their own official page, with every fact quoted word for word, and are listed by hand. Beside them, 'All open calls' copies every open call from two official registers, Grants.gov and the EU Funding & Tenders portal, every six hours. Those calls are shown as the register lists them: we have not read their rules, so we do not say whether you can apply.

Does KeyStone cover every grant in the world?

Not yet, and we will not claim it does. The two registers cover US government and European Commission calls, which are open to applicants worldwide in many cases. Other funders (foundations, UN agencies, national governments) are added as leads from public feeds, or as verified programmes once someone has read the official page. If one is missing, tell us at the contact address.

How do you keep them up to date?

Every day, KeyStone re-reads each programme's official pages and checks that every quoted sentence is still there. If one has changed, the programme is flagged. If it stays out of step for a second day, it is removed from the lists until a check finds the page matching again.

What are "leads"?

Titles and links collected from public opportunity feeds. They are unverified: KeyStone has not read the funder's own page. Check they are genuine, read the official rules, and never pay to apply.

Will it write my application?

It drafts each section from your CV and a short brief you write, and nothing else. Anything it cannot verify stays a marked blank for you to fill. Every number in a draft is compared with your sources, and any figure that appears in none of them is flagged.

Can I rely on the dates and rules?

They come from each programme's official page, worked out by code, and re-checked every day. Programmes change, so treat what you see as a pointer and confirm on the official page before you apply. Listing a programme is not an endorsement.

Does it tell me if I am eligible?

It tells you what it can check, such as citizenship, location and whether you are applying as an individual or an organisation. Where a programme has a rule it cannot check, it says "confirm below" and shows the rule, and does not say you fit.

Visas

Is this immigration advice?

No. It is information read from official government pages, quoted as written. KeyStone cannot tell you whether you will be approved, and rules change. Confirm on the official page and speak to a qualified adviser if you are unsure.

Will I be approved?

KeyStone cannot tell you. Decisions are made by the government, and meeting every requirement does not guarantee approval. KeyStone also does not file your application: it links you to the official one.

How do the checklists work?

Each visa has a checklist built from the official page: what to check, which documents to gather, and how to apply. Every item shows the official wording it comes from. You tick items off, and your progress is saved to your account.

Which visas are covered?

Currently the UK Global Talent visa and the Estonia Digital Nomad Visa. A visa is added only after its issuing government's page has been read, and only if it can be re-checked automatically. Some official sites block automated reading, and those cannot be listed.

What happens when the rules change?

The same daily check applies. A route whose page has changed is flagged, and one that stays out of step is removed until it matches again, so you are not shown a checklist the government has since changed.

Your data

What do you keep?

The text of your CV, your drafts, the applications you log, your match and programme settings, and your visa checklist progress. Uploaded files are read, then discarded. The full list is on the Your data page.

Can I download or email my documents?

Yes. Every CV, tailored CV, cover letter, grant draft and visa checklist has Download PDF and Email. The PDF is made in your browser. If you email it, it goes as an attachment from KeyStone with your address as reply-to, and no copy is kept. You can send up to 10 a day.

Can I delete everything?

Yes, yourself. Settings has "Delete your account", which removes your account and everything stored for it straight away.

Is my CV used to train AI?

KeyStone does not train or fine-tune any model. When you use a tailoring or drafting tool, your text is sent to an AI provider to produce the result, and those providers' own practices vary. Finding job matches never sends your CV to an AI model. The AI transparency page has the detail.

Is the information on these pages advice?

No. KeyStone gives information and tools, not legal, immigration, financial or career advice. The terms and each tool's section say so, and a qualified adviser can help where the stakes are high.

Do you sell my data?

No. Nothing is sold, and there are no ads.
